SANTA ANA — November 2, 2026. Santa Ana’s November 2026 community newsletter lists a free bulky-item drop-off event for Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to noon at Heritage Park and Portola Park.
Two collection locations
The city identifies Heritage Park, 4812 West Camille Street, and Portola Park, 1700 East Santa Clara Avenue. The collection may end early if the containers fill, so a nominal noon end time does not guarantee acceptance through the last minute.
Proof of local residence is required
Santa Ana says the event is limited to Santa Ana residents with proof of address; U-Haul trucks and commercial vehicles are excluded. The event is intended for large unwanted household items, not commercial waste.
Items to leave at home
The notice excludes hazardous chemicals, oil and paint, pesticides, batteries, concrete, tires, refrigerators and air conditioners. Residents should check the complete city list and can call 714-647-5411 for details.
